Uber is introducing a new option for riders in the United States: Comfort. Uber Comfort is a new option that gives users more comfortable rides at a price higher than Uber X.

Uber says the new Comfort option comes with newer, mid-size cars that provide extra legroom and extra space for increased comfort. Uber Comfort is only available to drivers with a rating of 4.8, or higher, too.

Uber Comfort also gives you the ability to get a preferred temperature within the car during your ride. But more importantly,  you can choose to get a quiet ride — in other words, you can simply ask your driver to not speak with you during the ride. And although that does sound really inhuman for some, it could be useful for others. Uber makes it clear that this is not necessarily a requirement for drivers, and it’s more of a preference. Uber lets you choose between “happy to chat”, “quiet preferred” and “no preference” for the conversation during the ride.

TechCrunch reports that the prices for Comfort are 20-40% higher than Uber X, excluding surge pricing and other additional prices. Uber Comfort is now available in Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Charleston, Charlotte, Chicago, Connecticut, Dallas, Fresno, Hampton Roads, Houston, Honolulu, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Madison, Memphis, Milwaukee, Nashville, New Jersey, New Orleans, Omaha, Orange County, Ottawa, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Raleigh-Durham, Rhode Island, Richmond, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Tucson, Wichita, and Washington D.C. It’s not clear if Uber will expand the new option to other countries, though.
