Xbox September Update Brings Full Library View And More
Microsoft has started rolling out the September 2022 update on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The main new feature is a full library view that lets gamers see the games they own plus other titles from game subscription services all in one place.
“All games now shows all the games you own as well as any games you have access to with your current Xbox subscriptions, including Xbox Game Pass, EA Access, and claimed Games with Gold. You also get easy access to catalogs of your subscriptions, editorial content, and all your apps.”
The September 2022 update also adds new storage and default install options on Xbox consoles. If you’re using an external drive, you can choose a default installation location for current-gen games, backward-compatible games, and apps. The “Let Xbox decide” option will also automatically install content on the fastest drive with available space.
If you have an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, this update also makes it possible to change the color of the Xbox button. To do that, head to the Xbox Accessories app, go to the Color tab and choose between the different color and brightness options. Microsoft says that 16 million different colors are supported for this Xbox button.

The September Xbox update also brings the Party chat noise suppression feature that made its debut on Xbox Series X|S consoles earlier this month to Xbox One consoles. The feature is also coming to Windows 11/10 PCs, alongside a new Xbox Game Bar capability that lets PC gamers use share game captures with a link.
