Samsung Launches the Galaxy Chromebook 2 360
Samsung has announced its latest convertible Chromebook, the Galaxy Chromebook 2 360, which starts at just $430.
“Sleek, stylish, and weighing less than the average textbook, we designed Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 with students in mind,” the Samsung announcement post notes. “It’ll go wherever they’re headed, fitting comfortably in their backpack. Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 comes with a bright, high-resolution 12.4-inch WQXGA touch screen with a thin bezel, delivering immersive viewing experiences whether students are in the classroom, on the school bus, or trying a new game. And the 360-degree hinge gives them even more versatility to use their Chromebook as a laptop, a tablet, or something in between.”
The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 is powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 processor with Intel UHD integrated graphics, 4 or 8 GB of RAM, and 64 or 128 GB of eMMC storage. It features a 12.4-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) multitouch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 340 nits of brightness, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity with optional LTE, stereo speakers, and a 720p webcam. For expansion, it provides two USB-C ports, one USB-A 3.2 port, and a micro-SD card slot. It’s powered by a 45-watt USB-C charger.
The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 will be available starting on April 15. You can learn more on the Samsung website.
